Save Our Woodlands recently posted about studies showing that what were thought to be wild dogs are actually dingoes, a threatened species.
And how unfortunately in many cases with the incorrect identification of dingoes, again a threatened species, dingoes are not being protected.
Of course, we also understand that those who raise sheep struggle when they lose livestock to wild dogs, foxes OR dingoes so we found a recent radio broadcast extremely interesting.
The broadcast highlights easy to care for donkeys running with mobs of sheep over a three-year “test” — resulting in “since we’ve had them in there, we haven’t found a dead sheep” – again in three years.

Only 15% of our woodlands remain, the rest has been cleared for agriculture.
Save Our Woodlands Inc. secures and protects woodlands in NSW and pays landholders, in perpetuity, to conserve, enhance and re-establish native woodlands on THEIR land, and to manage these woodlands, so they are maintained.
